The North Wing adjoins the grand main hall, which is still lived in by the Whewell family, is steeped in character and showcases many of its original features. Providing a luxurious and comfortable setting for you and loved ones to enjoy on your wedding day. Fully equipped with three spacious double bedrooms, a roll-top bath, walk-in showers, a large and sociable kitchen/diner and a cosy wood-panelled drawing room.
If you are planning to get married in 2023 you and your wedding party will have exclusive use of the North Wing for the night before and morning preparations.

The Drawing Room
A grand and opulent wood panelled snug. A place to withdraw off to when you need a moment to reflect.
The Billiards Room
A spacious and impressive communal space, formerly the billiards room in the main hall, is perfect for feasting the night before getting ready the morning of, and all that is in between. To be treated like your home from home, fill the fridge with fizz and nibbles, brew up for your wedding guests and enjoy being lords and ladies of the manor.


The Bridal Suite
The perfect suite to capture those magical moments before you walk down the aisle. With sweeping views across the Forest of Bowland, feature windows, huge traditional, wooden bed, antique dressing table and an elegant chaise longue the Bridal Suite lends itself beautifully for those special pre-ceremony moments.
The Green Room
A beautifully spacious and light room with breathtaking views over the western fields. A comfortable space for your guests to enjoy, decorated in keeping with the rest of the manor house.


The Maple Room
Featuring oversized wooden four poster bed and out there wall art. This room also has a quirky step down ensuite bathroom with walk in shower… we love The Maple Room.
