After almost 10 years together, we got married at Wyresdale in September 2023, and had the most perfect days of our lives. We actually didn’t look around anywhere else, as we fell in love with your venue straight alway. And we have had no regrets since. From the very start of booking our venue (shown around by the lovely Sarah), to the communication running up to the day, to the advice and hints and tips. Everything was perfection. Then the actual day – where do we even begin to explain the wonderful day? Your team are incredibly talented. The whole day ran so smoothly, no stress, everything was was like a fairytale. You looked after us and our guests so well. The venue is stunning! The whole grounds were just the most beautiful place we had ever seen. Our guests keep going on and on and on about it. We can’t thank you all enough. Special thank you to Heather who made the day just run perfectly from the start to the end.
You were amazing and calm, even when starting the ceremony 30mins late and then my dads speech lasting 30minutes! The accommodation on site was a huge bonus for us, being able to stay with all our loved ones the night before and then having over 40guests on the wedding night. Everyone loved their glamping tents and the posh new coach house. The honeymoon suite is very special and the perfect end to the perfect day. Then the next morning everything being in the Shippon ready for us – not a single thing missing! With a yummy breakfast whilst discussing the day before! The suppliers that came within the package – stunning flowers from Bluebells & Daises, delicious food from The Striped Kitchen, incredible photos from Claire Basiuk and my beautiful hair and make up done by The Loft. It took the stress out of everything. You are one lovely family, and we felt like a part of it whilst we were there. We will be coming back to Wyresdale for the rest of our lives, and will recommend to anyone wanting a perfect wedding.
The best day of our lives

We got married here last month and it was without a doubt the best day of our lives. The venue completely surpassed our expectations, such a beautiful & special place! I cannot say enough about how amazing the Wyresdale staff were, Jaydi our on the day coordinator was incredible! The team really are experts in what they do. They made the day so special for us, and had everything under control so we could relax and enjoy the day. Our guests were blown away by the south lawn, yurts & fire pit/court yard. On site accommodation is beautiful, the keepers cottage was the perfect place for us to enjoy the night before and morning of, gorgeous rooms and surrounding gardens. The new honeymoon suite is also so stunning. It really is the perfect place to get married, stunning scenery all around and everything you could need on site. We spent the day before in the loft spa having our nails done, the team were so incredibly lovely and couldn’t have done enough for us. We booked out tables in the Applestore for our guests the next morning and had an amazing breakfast in the stunning conservatory’s. We will visit Wyresdale for years to come, it really is a special place and we feel so lucky to have got married here. Thank you so much to the amazing Wyresdale team! 🧡

We got married on 7th June 23 and it was the best day of our lives. It was everything we’d hoped for and more! We couldn’t have asked for a better day and everything went to plan. The staff did the set up, food and drinks were incredible and the grounds were beautiful. Would highly recommend this venue as they went above and beyond for us.

We booked Wyresdale Park for our dream wedding and it did not disappoint!! The coordinators were so lovely and very helpful in the run up to our big day – a special mention to Jaydi and Heather who helped ensure the day ran smoothly, always reassuring us and just made sure everything was super special. The venue is just beautiful, everything we could have wished for and more. There’s so many great places to get stunning pictures and the separate barns add a unique touch along with the fantastic choice of on-site accommodation. We booked a package so used Scott & Lee’s for photography, Bluebells & Daisies for flowers and The Striped Kitchen for our food – all were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect day. We loved every minute and would 100% recommend!!
The best wedding venue around!

We got married here in May 2023. The venue is beautiful, but the real beauty lies in their amazing staff. The wedding coordinators are so brilliant, they made the whole day run smoothly, we didn’t need to worry about a thing all day. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

We had our wedding at Wyresdale back in August 2022. Everybody says it will be the best day of your life, it really was. That was all thanks to the most incredible venue, suppliers and staff. From start to finish everything was ran like a well oiled machine. Nothing was too much trouble and somebody was always on hand to help. Jaydi managed to find me extra items for the wedding decor at last minute without me even asking. Could not recommend more and so wish we could do it all over again!

Our autumn wedding at Wyresdale Park was an absolute dream come true! We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning and unique venue to celebrate our special day.
From the moment we arrived at the picturesque location, we knew we had made the right choice. The changing colors of the leaves provided a breathtaking backdrop that left us and our guests in awe. We were blown away by the beauty of the barn – the exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and warm lighting made it the perfect setting for our reception. But what really made our day truly unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Wyresdale Park. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of and that we had the wedding of our dreams. Their attention to detail and dedication to making everything perfect for us was outstanding and made us feel like royalty. One of the many things that made our autumn wedding at Wyresdale Park so special was the incredible accommodation. The bridal suite was absolutely perfect, providing a luxurious and comfortable space for us to get ready for our big day. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to feel pampered and relaxed. But it wasn’t just the bridal suite that impressed us – the yurts for our guests were also amazing! They provided a really fun and unique experience for our guests, who loved the chance to stay in such a beautiful setting. The yurts themselves were spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with everything our guests needed to enjoy their stay. The common area was especially great, as it allowed everyone to gather and make new friends, creating a real sense of community and togetherness. We can’t recommend Wyresdale Park enough as a wedding venue. It’s the perfect choice for couples who want a unique and memorable experience that they and their guests will never forget. We’re so grateful that we chose this amazing barn for our special day, and we’re sure that other couples will feel the same way too. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that truly stands out, look no further than Wyresdale Park – you won’t be disappointed!
Dream rustic wedding in Lancashire countryside

We got married at Wyresdale Park in-between Christmas and New Year 2022. The venue is just perfection – the actual ‘wedding barns’ are beautifully simple, with white washed walls, festoon lighting, log burners – they need next to no decoration because they’re already so lovely. All our guests commented how brilliant it was that the barns are all connected so there is free movement between where the ceremony, wedding breakfast, bar and dancing take place. Getting married in December meant we were anticipating bad weather but you can have the look and feel of being outside whilst staying dry in the ‘tractor barn’ which we didn’t find at any other venues we viewed.
The accommodation is utterly stunning and it’s almost a shame more guests don’t get to see this part of the venue! Our bridal party stayed in the North Wing of the house which is so grand and the groom’s party stayed in Keeper’s Cottage which is so cosy. The glamping yurts were a big hit, everyone was amazed at how huge they were and great for those who didn’t want to mess about with taxis at the end of the night. The Wyresdale coordinators were very responsive, helpful and accommodating – Jaydi who did our final planning meeting and coordinated our big day was so friendly, approachable and on hand for everything – even making sure our heating was working in the North Wing the night before! We had complete faith in her that our wedding would go smoothly (which it did). The fact that the most wonderful florist (Bluebells and Daisies), the Loft spa and the Applestore Cafe are on site too is a huge bonus. Gemma, the florist, decorated the venue and it looked so beautiful and our bridesmaids got their hair done in the lovely Loft. There are plenty of hotels and b+bs within 15 mins drive of the venue so all our guests who were travelling from far and wide had choices of accommodation. The estate has a lake on and walking routes – though the wedding barns are not accessible to the public – and we’re so thrilled that we will be able to return for years to come. From the moment we viewed Wyresdale Park we knew nothing else compared – it is the perfect combination of barn wedding, rural, relaxed luxury. It also has a very personal feeling to it, as though it truly is yours for a couple of days! We cannot believe we were so lucky to have found this absolute hidden gem – it truly is the most beautiful, magical place.

The venue speaks volumes for itself. Totally and utterly STUNNING!! I fell in love with wyresdale before I had even step foot on the property it’s quirky and rustic beauty had my heart the moment I laid eyes on their social media platforms. Our wedding day ran so smoothly with the wyresdale team and as a bride this is all you wish for. Great team of people and nothing was too much hassle. Even down to a member of the team sitting with my 2 year old toddler whilst he was sleeping so we could dance the night away.
Our co-ordinator for the day was an Angel. We also used striped kitchen who was amazing (recommended food supplier) 💖. The only thing I would say is that the honeymoon nook was slightly cold on a November evening. However I didn’t know where the heating was to turn it up. Our guests yurts was so warm with heated blankets and heaters which I was over the moon with. All in all it was a truly magical day and I wish we got to do it all over again. The exact barn wedding venue I was looking for

I’ve just got my wedding photos back and I’ve relived how amazing the day was once more. This venue really is special and it’s been designed so thoughtfully to feel rustic and beautiful but also super practical and equipped to have the most stress free wedding day. I love the three different rooms (ceremony/dining/dancing) and bar which make it super easy to transition between different parts of the day. They’ve thought of everything to make your day easier and are also really flexible and not pushy in terms of doing things your own way or bringing in your own suppliers. I could go on and on but if you are looking for a relaxed, beautiful and memorable wedding day – book a viewing and you’ll see what I mean 🙂

We had our wedding at Wyresdale Park in July and couldn’t recommend the venue and staff enough! The co-ordinators were so lovely and helpful in the run up to our big day, and Claire & Jaydi went above and beyond on our wedding day to make it so special. The venue is so gorgeous too, from the ceremony barn to the south lawn – there is a space for everything and potential to make it so personal to you. We loved every minute!
An Amazing Wedding Venue!

We booked Wyresdale Park for our wedding reception venue in June 2021, ahead of our wedding in September 2022. Wyresdale have been fantastic from the beginning, always willing to answer any questions via email or the phone (we had a lot!). We used their package deal which combined a photographer, florist, bridal hair and beauty and catering, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is absolutely stunning, set on the edge of the Forest of Bowland – our guests loved it! A massive shout out to Claire for answering loads of our questions, to James for being an incredible owner and always saying hello to us when we were at an open day or just up having a coffee at the Applestore Cafe, and to Sally for handling all of our invoices and payments.
You can tell the team at Wyresdale is a family, and we certainly have a very special connection with Wyresdale ourselves now as well. We love to come back for the shops and the Christmas markets, and we also made our wedding bands at Rachel Elizabeth Wood’s Jewelry shop, which is on the site. The one bit of feedback we have is that staggering the welcome drinks at the drinks reception would be good as some of our guests didn’t get a drink due to traffic on the A6 (we got married in Preston, and drove to Wyresdale afterwards). Overall we would highly recommend Wyresdale to anyone looking for a wedding venue – the location is beautiful yet easy to access, the staff are lovely, and you get so much for the hire price (white barn, disco barn, ground access, yurts, etc). Thank you Wyresdale for helping us have such a special wedding day!

Wyresdale Park is just amazing!! From the moment we booked with them we knew we were in good hands. The grounds are stunning and there’s so many places for beautiful photographs. The barns, the North Wing and the glamping pods just surpassed all our expectations. The day itself was amazing, every little detail had been thought about by our wonderful wedding coordinator (Tamsin) we really couldn’t have done it without her. I genuinely couldn’t fault a thing with Wyresdale, I wish we could do it all again! Best wedding venue we could ever have asked for!

Where to start with Wyresdale Weddings? We felt so lucky when we happened across it a couple of years ago, and our experience with them from start to finish has been absolutely incredible. The venue itself is just magical – we couldn’t have wished for a more gorgeous & atmospheric place to get married; it’s utterly beautiful whilst also boasting rustic charm. We had so many questions post booking and in the run up to our day and Heather and Tamsin were super responsive and helpful – we found them a dream to deal with. Tamsin was our coordinator on the day and, oh my word, she was INCREDIBLE! She was calm, organised, helpful, efficient, whilst also being one of the funnest people at the wedding! Not just a great help, but a really lovely addition to our day. We honestly couldn’t recommend Wyresdale highly enough!

I’d always wanted a venue that could sleep my nearest and dearest for a couple of nights, to make a lovely short holiday for everyone! Im so glad I came across Wyresdale!
The freedom they gave us to organise our day as we wanted was great, no confinements! Responsive in answering questions and our wedding coordinator was lovely! We want to go back and do it all again!!!!
