With so many wedding looks to choose from, you may come away from your bridal appointment wishing you had more than one option on your special day…well, we are here to tell you that you can have more than one look!

Many brides choose to take their look from day to night by adding different accessories, changing their hairstyle or switching up their evening makeup look, but had you considered opting for another outfit that’s completely standout and unique?

From having fun with different veils to wearing a jumpsuit at your rehearsal dinner to going for a shorter wedding dress to change into for the evening, there are plenty of amazing options to get excited about!

Here are some key trends you could consider:

Veils are having a moment!

Have you thought about having a veil on your special day? From short and chic waterfall veils to long and dramatic veils with embroidered details, there are so many styles to complete your bridal look.

For something a little different, why not consider a beautiful sequinned bridal cape like Savannah Miller’s bespoke dress & cape featured in British Vogue.

Adding the perfect amount of sparkle, this cape not only takes the look into evening territory, it looks incredible on the wedding photos too! The glimmer of sequins and statement crown headpiece by Tilly Thomas Lux really adds to the fun of this magical, festival themed wedding.

Bridal Jumpsuits

Take some style inspiration from our wonderful Wyresdale bride, Nina, who chose to wear this incredible Nadine Merabi Jumpsuit and pearl trimmed blazer on the evening before her special day. Not only does this outfit look super chic, it’s an outfit that could be worn again after your wedding!

As opposed to a more traditional wedding dress, you could choose to wear a jumpsuit on your wedding day too!

Black Wedding Dresses, yes or no?

We have to admit that this maybe a trend for the more daring brides, but if you don’t want to opt for a white or ivory wedding dress, the black wedding dress is currently having a moment!

Chic, timeless and understated, there is something quite appealing about a black wedding dress. If you wanted the best of both worlds, you could go for a white or ivory dress for your ceremony and then change into black for evening!

Slip into a Shorter Dress for Evening!

If you really can’t decide between two dress styles, why not consider having a long dress for your ceremony and a shorter, party dress for evening? It’s a great way to show off your fabulous shoes and really shows you are ready to party!

You may find yourself feeling more comfortable in a shorter dress for evening too as it would be much easier to dance the night away! How fabulous does Wyresdale Bride Nina look in this bespoke Emma Beaumont Atelier Dress? We love!

Something borrowed or Preloved?

Rachel, another gorgeous Wyresdale Bride decided to wear her Mum’s wedding dress for her special day and with no alternations needed, it really was the perfect fit!

This is a great way to wear an outfit that’s more sustainable and if you don’t have a suitable wedding dress within your close family, you could look to hire a wedding dress too! That way, you can have multiple looks throughout the day that you can send back at a later date.

We hope you have taken some inspiration from these key bridal trends and if you are still on the lookout for a beautiful wedding venue, take a look at our website or email us at info@wyresdalepark.co.uk.
