Weddings really are the best way to get everyone together to celebrate and we can’t wait to welcome you all to Wyresdale Weddings for such an occasion. Below is lots of information which is hopefully useful when planning your trip here, if you do still have any queries then the best way to contact us is by email on

:Arriving at Wyresdale Weddings

You will find us at Wyresdale Park, Snowhill Lane, Preston, PR3 1BA.

When you arrive at the estate, turn left through the estate gates, sign posted Wyresdale Weddings, follow the drive past the main hall and through the trees into our weddings carpark.You are welcome to leave your car here overnight.

You should see the wedding barns to your right as you enter the carpark and these can be entered through the porch.

If you are arriving and need somewhere to get ready/changed first then our Glamping Orchard does come with some showering facilities, changing room and toilet cubicles that can be accessed from 12 noon.


We have lots of amazing accommodation options on-site, all accommodation does need to be booked through the couple so reach out to them to see what’s available.


Check-in for all accommodation is 3pm, we recommend you leave any luggage in your cars until this time.

We do have an excellent housekeeping team who will always get the accommodation ready as fast as possible and so there is the chance of an earlier check-in on the day, this isn’t something we can ever guarantee but please do ask any wedding coordinator or bar team member when you arrive and we will be able to provide an update on this. Coordinators and bar staff will be found within the wedding barns when you arrive.

To check-in at any time, you will need to give your name to a wedding coordinator or member of the bar team. We have a list of where guests are staying provided by the couple and will be able to help point you in the right direction.

We ask that everyone is checked into their accommodation by 8pm at the latest.

What’s included

All linen and towels are provided for guests across all accommodation, with the exception of our two wooden pods.

Keeper’s Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including an oven, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster,cutlery and crockery.

The Nook, our 10 Glamping Yurts and the two wooden pods, all have access to a communal kitchen with an oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery.

All accommodation has access to tea and coffee facilities.

Please note that if you are staying in either of the two wooden pods that you will need to bring your own bedding, linen and towels. These will not be provided.

Please also note that there are no hair dryers in any of the accommodation.

The North Wing, Keeper’s Cottage and The Lodge all have an iron and ironing board but we do not have any steamers on site.


Check-out for all accommodation the morning after the wedding is 10am. Please make sure all belongings are removed at this time as you will not be able to re-enter your accommodation and late check-outs will be charged to the couple.

All cars need to be moved from the wedding carpark by 12 noon the following day.


If breakfast has been arranged by the couple then this will be held in The Shippon, located just outside the cafe garden walls, opposite the artisan shops at 10.15am.

If breakfast hasn’t been arranged then the Applestore cafe is open from 9am each day serving hot breakfast options.

Important Information

– Please note our bar is card only, we are unable to take any cash.

– Please be aware that due to the rural nature of our venue, the majority of the grounds are uneven with cobbles and gravel. It can be worth taking this into consideration when selecting footwear.
